This year, the French School Jakarta is delighted to welcome two new students with exceptional backgrounds, reflecting our commitment to open up to the local community and strengthening bilateral relations between France and Indonesia.

The Bola d’Or is an educational and sporting project supported by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The program is run by the Institut Français d’Indonésie, the French Embassy in Indonesia, the French Football Federation (FFF) Academy in Jakarta, Silk Road Sports Indonesia and the French School Jakarta.

The aim of the Bola d’Or is to identify young talent in Indonesian football and offer them a unique opportunity to receive football training while benefiting from a French education.

Following a selection process in Jabodetabek, with hundreds of participants and multiple screening sessions that they passed with flying colors, and after taking French lessons at the IFI during the summer, the two children selected have the ambition to carry out this dual project at the French School Jakarta until the end of their schooling.

Through this initiative, the French School Jakarta embodies the humanist and social promotion values that we hold dear, demonstrating our commitment to bring our two countries closer together and to foster a bright future for these talented young people.
