Laurent Pinabel, a French-Canadian author and illustrator, met with our students from elementary school (CE1/CE2 B, CM1/CM2 B, and CM2 A), middle school, and high school (Arts specialization) on Wednesday, March 20 and Thursday, March 21. The students were thrilled to finally meet the author of Le Guerrier Massaï, a book they had discovered as part of the 35th edition of the Les Incorruptibles literary award.

These two vibrant days were filled with engaging activities including Q&A sessions, interviews, creative writing and illustration workshops, book signings… and even a theatrical performance adapted from the story of Le Guerrier Massaï, performed by AES Théâtre 6e students.

The students’ creations will be compiled into a joint production shared among the six AEFE schools in the Asia-Pacific Zone participating in Laurent Pinabel’s tour: Jakarta, Singapore, Hanoi, Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Seoul.
