Before applying for a detached position, candidates are requested to read carefully the conditions and application procedures available on the AEFE website at the relevant page.

  • Candidates are also asked to take note of the following grounds for inadmissibility:
  • Applications submitted after the deadline and/or incomplete in relation to the required documents
  • Applications from individuals who are not tenured members of the French civil service
  • For teaching positions: applications from civil servants who do not belong to a teaching corps of the 1st or 2nd degree

*“Spouse” is understood in the strict civil sense, including a partner bound by a civil union (PACS). Candidates must provide a letter explaining their personal situation and a supporting document justifying the spouse follow-up (e.g., signed employment contract, job offer, etc.) in Indonesia.

General Timeline

  • Tuesday, 20 October 2025: Publication of the list of vacant and potentially vacant positions on the AEFE website, on the schools’ websites, and on the SCAC website.
  • Friday, 28 November 2025, at midnight (Jakarta time): Deadline for submitting applications. (Download file)
  • All application files must be scanned into a single readable PDF file in the correct reading orientation and sent by email to Mrs. Elys SIAGIAN at: recrutement@frenchschooljakarta.com

The subject line of the email must state: “Candidature DETACHE 2026_LASTNAME Subject”

  • Wednesday, 10 December 2025: Meeting of the Local Joint Advisory Commission for the recruitment of residents.
  • From Thursday, 11 December 2025:
    Following the opinion of the CCPL, the Head of School/Principal will contact by email the selected candidate(s), in order of ranking, with an offer of recruitment. The candidate then has 48 hours to confirm acceptance of the position and return the completed and signed documents. In the event of refusal or absence of response, the Head of School/Principal will contact the next candidate on the list.

The candidate is only definitively recruited once their secondment has been approved by their original ministry and their contract has been signed by both parties.

Vous assurez le suivi éducatif des élèves du secondaire et pilotez le service de la vie scolaire, afin de garantir à chacun des conditions d’apprentissage favorisant l’autonomie, la responsabilisation, l’épanouissement personnel et la réussite scolaire.
Vous participez aux instances du lycée, aux conseils de classe, aux conseils d’enseignement ainsi qu’aux réunions de l’équipe de direction, le cas échéant.

Profil recherché
Nous recherchons un(e) Conseiller(ère) Principal(e) d’Éducation capable de s’inscrire dans un environnement international et multiculturel, propre aux établissements du réseau AEFE, et de collaborer efficacement avec l’ensemble de la communauté éducative du lycée.
Le/la candidat(e) devra faire preuve :

  • d’excellentes capacités de communication avec les élèves, les familles et les personnels,
  • d’un sens affirmé de l’organisation, de la planification et de la gestion du temps,
  • d’une forte capacité d’adaptation,
